In Croydon, the new Single Point of Contact for Early Help and Children’s Social Care is now up and running. This is intended to provide a more joined up and supportive response for professionals with safeguarding concerns at any stage. The much-anticipated, revised version of Keeping Children Safe in Education can now be viewed on the DfE website and came into force on 3 September 2018. Most of what was in the previous version remains but there are some important additions and clarifications. These include:
