This course will support year 6 teachers to:
· Ensure all pupils reach their potential in the KS2 maths SATs
This session will support teachers to:
· moderate teacher assessments of pupil achievement in maths
· understand what is needed to achieve the higher standard in the KS2 maths SATs
· extend pupils to enable them to achieve the higher standard in the KS2 maths SATs
· prepare their pupils in test question strategy particularly in relation to mathematical reasoning and application of knowledge
Delegates should bring pupils’ maths books for at least 2 pupils working at and working just above age related expectations.
