Overview

As part of their strategic role, Governors may be required to sit on formal Governor Panels that consider, amongst other issues, parental complaints. This development session will focus on the vital role that Clerks play in ensuring the effective running and decision making of Parental Complaint Panels.

This course is non-chargeable for those schools with an annual Octavo Governance training contract.

Description

This development session is relevant for both Clerks who have had no previous experience of arranging and clerking Parental Complaint Panels and for those Clerks wishing to update and refresh their existing knowledge.

Booking Information

Please note that a place must be booked beforehand in order to be able to attend the session. Those delegates who have booked a place by 5pm on the day before the session will receive, via an email, a Microsoft Teams meeting link which will be needed to join the Briefing. To ensure the security of the virtual meeting, Clerks who have not booked and not been sent the link will not be allowed to join the training session.

For those Clerks whose schools have purchased a training contract with Octavo Governance, attendance at this session will be at no additional charge; Clerks whose school have not purchased an Octavo Governance training contract are warmly welcome to attend this virtual session for a fee of £115 plus VAT.
