This practical and engaging 90-minute course is designed to support new and existing Headteachers, deputy Heads, and school leaders in understanding and confidently managing health and safety within their schools.
The session provides a clear overview of legal responsibilities, key risk areas, and what effective health and safety management looks like in practice. Using real examples from schools, the course focuses on helping leaders move beyond paperwork and ensure that arrangements are working day to day.

The course is designed to be practical, proportionate, and relevant to all school types—whether maintained, academy, or trust-led settings.
