Overview

The Head’s performance review is a key strategic responsibility for those Trustees and Governors who serve on the HT Performance Review Panel. In order to discharge this responsibility effectively, it is essential that Trustees and Governors fully understand their role and responsibilities within the review process.

This development session is non-chargeable for those Governors whose schools have purchased an annual governance contract with Octavo Governance.

Description

Facilitated by an experienced School Improvement Adviser, Trustees and Governors will learn about the wider context of performance management, their specific role in the Head’s performance management process and the support that they should receive in conducting the review and planning the review meeting.

A place must be booked beforehand in order to be able to attend the training session. Those delegates who have booked a place by 5pm on the day before the session will receive, via an email, a Microsoft Teams meeting link which will be needed to join the session. To ensure the security of the virtual meeting, Governors who have not booked and not been sent the link will not be allowed to join the training session.

Price
For those Governors whose schools have purchased a training contract with Octavo Governance, attendance at these sessions will be at no additional charge; Governors whose school have not purchased an Octavo Governance training contract are warmly welcome to attend our virtual sessions for a fee of £115 per delegate per session.
