Did you know that the phrase ‘Work smarter not harder’ dates back to the 1930s. Is it any wonder that this oft repeated phrase has become an unhelpful cliché?
Yet, as Governors and Trustees, you are taking on more responsibility and greater workloads in addition to your own work or personal commitments.
This session digs deeper into a values-based approach to Prioritising your responsibilities, helping you move from ‘firefighting’ and juggling your different responsibilities towards a planned approach, starting with the end in mind.
It offers Governors and Trustees a chance to identify and work on individual strategies to enable you to use your time effectively, and balance your commitments and thus serve your board more effectively.
This session is suitable for new and experienced Governors and Trustees, as well as Executive Leaders in Education.

Those delegates who have booked a place by 5pm on the day before the session will receive, via an email, a Microsoft Teams meeting link which will be needed to join the session.
