Training on creating a shared vision and values
A school’s vision provides a clear picture of the future it seeks to create, while its values define the principles and behaviours that guide everyday decisions and actions. This interactive session will explore what a meaningful vision is, why it matters, and how governors and school leaders can work together to develop one that is authentic, ambitious and shared by the whole school community. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own personal values, consider the values they want their school to embody, and explore how collective values can be translated into a compelling vision that drives culture, strategy and school improvement.
