Overview

The course will provide delegates with:

· an understanding of how the optional teacher assessment frameworks and optional year 2 tests can be used for assessing pupil’s attainment in the core subjects at the end of KS1

· an understanding of the statutory requirements for administering the Phonics Screening Check for Year 2 pupils who have not achieved the PSC in Year 1

· support in developing Y2 subject knowledge in English and mathematics
