Best practice highlights that all Trustees and Governors involved in the recruitment and selection of staff who work with children in our schools have received up to date safer recruitment training (within the last three years).
This course is non-chargeable for those schools with an annual Croydon Education Partnership Governance training contract.
This training session will assist Trustees and Governors’ development in relation to Key Competency 1 (Strategic Leadership) and Key Competency 5 (Compliance) of the Governance Competency Framework.

For those Governors whose schools have purchased a training contract with Croydon Education Partnership Governance, attendance at these sessions will be at no additional charge; Governors whose school have not purchased a Croydon Education Partnership Governance training contract are warmly welcome to attend this full day Accredited Safer Recruitment training for a fee of £275 per delegate.
As this is a full day development session, delegates will be provided with refreshments throughout the day, including a sandwich lunch. Please let us know of any dietary issues as soon as possible.
