Overview

With locality hubs the key method of working and delivery in Croydon, this briefing update will provide Croydon Governors the opportunity to hear how locality hubs are working and how this is influencing the support and guidance available to their schools and pupils with regard to SEND.

This update will also provide Governors with the opportunity to ask questions so that they better understand the local SEND context within which their schools will be operating and enable them to ask more effective, strategically challenging questions of their Senior Leadership Team with respect to their SEND provision.

Description

This briefing update will be led by the Consultant Lead, and his team, for Locality SEND Support within the Borough. As this session is being facilitated by the Local Authority, this session is FREE for all Croydon Governors to attend, regardless of whether or not their school has purchased an annual training contract with Octavo Governance.

Those delegates who have booked a place by 5pm on the day before the session will receive, via an email, a Microsoft Teams meeting link which will be needed to join the session. To ensure the security of the virtual meeting, Governors who have not booked and not been sent the link will not be allowed to join the training session.
